'highway to anandamaya': pranayama, yin + gong workshop

at Triyoga Shoreditch
Sat, Dec 10 | 14:30 - 16:30

This workshop in collaboration with Marcus Veda is for anyone who’s interested in going deeper into the power of the breath. Learn how to (safely) get high on your own supply and create some calm before the festive period.

Marcus will begin with the “4-Purifications” short sequence of simple pranayama and kriya to prepare the body for meditation, followed by a slow yin reclination practice accompanied by a specially-curated soundtrack, using the stillness of the poses to calm the fluctuations of the mind. We then move from awareness of the subtle body, to the bliss body with the Ananda Breath, open to receive the vibrations of the gong bath in savasana from Veronika. Designed to set you free to drift to wherever the sound takes you, the closing gong bath will leave you feeling relaxed and revitalised.

Come open to the possibility of directly experiencing a sense of inner peace, heightened clarity or tranquillity; even accessing a state of bliss (anandamaya) as we peel away the layers to pure consciousness. This workshop is aligned with ultimate goal of yoga: to transcend both body and mind to experience the higher Self, if only for a moment.

the rocket experience:
rocket yoga + sound journey

at Triyoga Camden
Fri, Jan 6 | 18:15 - 20:45

Join Amme and Veronika for a magical night on your yoga mat on 6 January at triyoga Camden.

Larry Schultz created the Rocket sequence to make the advanced poses of the Ashtanga system more accessible for beginners. The Rocket 3 incorporates postures from the first, second and third series of Ashtanga, presenting them in an accessible, and fun, way. The motto of rocket yoga is, “you are stronger than you think you are,” and this practice is guaranteed to leave you flying.

Amme practiced with Larry in San Francisco 5 days a week for 10 years, and has been teaching the rocket for 22 years. You will get all the tips, and all the bad jokes!

After we blast off into outer space, Veronika will guide your inner journey through restorative postures followed by a symphony of healing sounds with the deep resonance of gongs, Tibetan singing bowls, Koshi bells, rain sticks, and oh so much more.  This celestial experience is unique and transformational, bringing peace and healing to your soul.

Rocket yoga is traditionally taught with beginners and advanced students all in the room together; each student is encouraged to focus on what they can do. An amazing way to kick off your new year for all. Beginners will be blown away at what they can do with proper guidance, and for advanced yogis, the rocket 3 combo with a sound journey is the holy grail of yoga, and literally the best thing you can do on a Friday night.

Have fun. Get stronger. Quiet the inner critic.

Hot yoga workshop

at Triyoga Ealing
Feb 20, 2022

triyoga hot teacher Veronika welcomes you to the next step on your hot yoga journey – a workshop paced more slowly than classes, offering you the time and space to delve deeper into the tapasya hot sequence.

Less formal than regular hot classes, this workshop will take apart the sequence and look at key alignment features plus tips and tricks for each pose. There’s something for everyone – intermediate students will be challenged by advanced asanas, and beginners will feel more confident with the foundational poses.

The workshop aims to build not just strength and flexibility, but a supportive, positive community within which you can explore and progress in your practice. You’ll receive individual attention, work hard and laugh, and leave inspired and more confident, buoyed by the support of the practice and the triyoga hot community.
