About the event

Join us for a grounding and nourishing Yoga, Cacao & Sound experience. This is a monthly event to slow down, reconnect, and recharge.

These gatherings are an invitation to step out of the pace of everyday life and into a supportive, welcoming space where you can rest, reset, and feel held by the collective energy of the group. Each session is inspired by the Five Element Model and Traditional Chinese Medicine, offering practices that help you tune into the energy of the current season and find more balance within it.

  • We begin with sharing ceremonial cacao, setting intentions and opening space for reflection and connection.

  • Then we continue with gentle, intuitive movement to soften the body, settle the nervous system, and arrive more fully in the present moment. Throughout the session, I gently weave in seasonal wisdom inspired by the Five Element Model and Traditional Chinese Medicine, sharing reflections that often spark moments of clarity, insight, and inspiration.

  • The evening closes with a deeply restorative sound bath, allowing you to fully let go and integrate.

Cacao is a heart-opening, nourishing plant medicine, rich in nutrients that support emotional wellbeing, resilience to stress, and clarity of mind. Paired with the vibrations of gongs, Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, Koshi bells, and therapeutic percussion, the experience invites deep relaxation and inner listening.

This is not about doing more. It’s about slowing down, tuning in, and listening to your intuition and the wisdom of the season.

You can expect to leave feeling grounded, calm, and deeply rested, with a sense of clarity and softness that lasts beyond the session.

Who can join?

Everyone is welcome - experienced meditators and those curious to try a gong bath for the first time. The beauty of a gong bath meditation is that anyone can enjoy it, no experience necessary. (Please see note below about circumstances where gong baths might not be suitable).

IMPORTANT NOTE: Gong baths are not suitable for anyone with a pacemaker, anyone who suffers from fits (epileptics), or anyone who is extremely sensitive to sound. They are also not recommended for women in the first trimester of pregnancy due to the unstable nature of pregnancy during that time. If you wear a hearing aid, your device should be turned off during the session. Cacao ceremonies are not recommended for individuals who are taking MAOI inhibitors, have heart conditions, or are highly sensitive to caffeine, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women. Additionally, those with certain medical conditions or on specific medications should consult a healthcare professional before participating.

What should I bring?

Please bring your own thick mat (a pilates mat or camping mat are ideal), any props that you normally use for yoga (e.g. block, cushion etc.) and a warm jumper or a blanket to keep warm. An eye mask may also be nice to use.
